Bayreuther Dialoge 2017
Uhr | Location: Universität Bayreuth
A seminar on the topic of TRUE Leadership
The Bayreuther Dialoge is an annual conference at the University of Bayreuth taking place since 2004 concerned with Economy, Philosophy and Society. Each year students from the university’s Philosophy & Economics program organize the dialogue in cooperation with the BMW Stiftung Herbert Quandt to bring together visionaries, founders and students to reflect upon our fundamental societal structures.
The main topic this year is responsibility, central also in current political discourse. Looking towards the future it is obvious that we must reflect upon the meaning of responsibility. Who is responsible for the environment, the society and for us as citizens in today’s ever changing world?
Already for the second time, Klaus J. Schuler, managing director of Tripl3Leader, will be part of the Bayreuther Dialoge and will contribute as a speaker with a workshop about ethical responsibility of companies and leaders.
The modus operandi we apply in economics has an immense influence on our future. Mr. Schulers contribution will give impulses and engage the participants in the topic of economic ethics and a new definition of economics and leadership. A focus on overall societal well-being, questions about attractiveness for employees and public reputation of companies make a necessary change in thinking apparent. What must happen to make economy more ethical?
